ALL ABOUT ANTWAN CARTER

Antwan Carter is a poet, spoken word artist, author, magician, prison reform activist, and entrepreneur. He got his inspiration to write from studying Maya Angelou, 2pac, Langston Hughes and Edgar Allan Poe from his jail cell.

 

Antwan studied Business Management at Stratford Career Institute and graduated with highest honors. After learning the business aspect of selling products. He founded Cartier’s Rose LLC and is building it into a brand.

Once Antwan had exhausted all of the educational opportunities available from prison, he continued to grow through writing hundreds of letters to college professors until he was able to find those that would work with him.

Antwan has published three books and is currently working on a memoir "Diary of a Prisoner". Antwan expecially hopes that this book will both expose the shortfalls and injustices of the prison system, and also become a cautionary tale for young folks.

 

His mission and motto is changing lives with poems: one petal at a time. Antwan is now booking speaking engagments.
